For 20 years, the mission of AACT has been to support individuals and families affected by the autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your donation will help many children get access to a basic human right - a right to be educated in a country where children with autism are marginalized and often seen as a burden or worse , a curse on the family. We believe all children deserve the chance to succeed. We need your support to make his happen.
Donate via cash, cheque, mobile money transfer or directly into our bank account. Your donation can have an instant impact, supporting AACT’s immediate needs or can be endowed to ensure your contribution continues forever.
You can make a difference in the lives of children with autism, one month at a time. Become a sustaining supporter of AACT by showing your support on an annual or monthly basis. Donations can all be directed to support our programmes or a specific area of interest.
Your donation will be used to:
In-Cash
Sponsor a child
Many children with autism are excluded from receiving quality training and education because their families simply cannot afford the cost of training and education.
Support the establishment of a new Centre
Many children with autism are denied admission due to the current inadequate space we operate from. We therefore need a bigger space to continue to support and reach out to as many children as possible.
Support our Independent Living Skills (ILS) programme
In-Kind Donation
Assist us with resources
We would appreciate any of the following resources: sensory therapy, speech/Language, art supplies, musical instruments, child size student desks/chairs (for preschool), student desks, laptops, samsung smart television.
Support our Inclusion programme
Children with autism have difficulty in interacting, socializing or relating with people and adjusting to new environments or situations, so we regularly send our children to the mainstream/regular schools to join their peers there to learn how to cope with new environments and situations as well as socialize with them.
Support our Art therapy programme
Children with autism mostly have difficulty communicating or expressing themselves in words, so we engage them in different art therapy programmes such as painting, beading (paper beads, slippers bead, threading), marbling, stamping, papier marche, ceramics, clay moulding, paper weaving etcetera, which allows and enables them to express themselves and their ideas without necessarily having to put them in words.
Support our Drama, Dance and Movement therapy programme
