courses-details

Through our independent Living Skills (ILS) program, the children/ adults are involved in activities of daily living like brushing of their teeth, bathing, cooking and baking, doing dishes, washing, ironing and preparing their own snack. These skills and activities equip them to be independent.

We encourage parents to continue to engage the children/adults while at home to build on the independent living skills they have been taught at the centre. Many of the children who we have had over the years have mastered various activities of daily living.

Our independent living skills (ILS) training module involves guidance through routine activities until skills are mastered. This has been a successful intervention and we fore see higher levels of achievements.
